Progress the most promising Ideas to the next Challenge stage so they can be further developed and refined.

Progress an Idea from the Idea page

1. Open the Idea you want to progress.
2. Click Make decision and select Progress.
3. Select the reason for progressing the Idea.
4. Enter any relevant information to support your reason.
5. (Optional) Select Publish feedback on Update tab.
6. Click Next then Submit.

Progress an Idea from the Ideas tab

1. Go to your Challenge.
2. On the Ideas tab, select the checkbox on the top-left of the Idea card.
3. Click Manage Ideas, then Make decision 
4. Select Progress from the Decision dropdown
5. Select the reason for completing the Idea.
6. Enter any relevant information to support your reason.
7. (Optional) Select Publish feedback on Update tab.
8. Click Next then Submit.

Progress an Idea using Drag and Drop

Challenge Managers can also progress Ideas by dragging and dropping them from one stage to another directly on the Challenge page.

This provides a quicker way to make decisions and move Ideas through the Challenge workflow, without having to use the Manage Ideas > Make decision action.

Note: Drag and drop is only available when viewing the Challenge in Kanban view.

1. Go to your Challenge.
2. Open the Ideas tab and switch to Kanban view.
3. Locate the Idea you want to progress.
4. Drag the Idea card from its current stage.
5. Drop it into the appropriate next stage.
6. Follow the prompts to complete the decision, if required.
