If an Idea is reported and you’re a moderator for the Challenge, you can decide whether to remove or keep the reported Idea.  This moderation helps to ensure Ideas are on point and adhere to your terms and conditions.

Moderate a reported Idea

1. Open the reported Idea.
2. Click the flag symbol on the action bar and then Moderate.
3. Under Decision, select to approve or delete the Idea.
4. Enter a Reason and any additional information
5. Click Confirm.
6. Under Message to Creator enter the reason for your decision.
7. (Optional) Click Continue without sending messages.
8. Click Send Messages.

Note: Admins and Managers can moderate Ideas by default, and if an Idea has been reported and accepted by a moderator, it can’t be reported again unless edited. An Idea will remain reported until a moderator makes a decision.

Note: When an Idea is reported, Moderators will receive an email and a new task will show in their task notifications.

Note: You can find all ideas and comments awaiting your moderation in Analytics > Reports. Select the relevant moderation report to review and manage ideas or comments that have been flagged for moderation.
