If you want to collaborate on a solution with other Solvers for a Challenge, you can form a team of Solvers and submit a solution together.
If you wish to submit as a team, a ‘Team Project Room’ (TPR) is created: a secure online workspace that allows groups to collaborate as a team to submit to Innocentive Challenges. The team’s solution is developed and agreed among Team Members in the TPR, and is submitted to the Innocentive Challenge as a single submission by the Team Leader.
Team Members who accept the invite to a team will no longer be contacted for final approval before the submission is posted into the Challenge, so please raise questions with your Team Lead during the creation of your solution or proposal.
Note: If you can’t see the Form Team tab, the Challenge may not accept team submissions.
Form a team of Solvers
- Go to the Challenge Center.
- Find a Challenge you want to submit a Solution to.
- Click Register Interest & Accept Agreement and agree to the Challenge Agreement.
- Select the Form Team tab.
- Under Invite Team Members, enter a user’s name or email and select them from the list.
- (Optional) Enter a personalized invitation message.
- Under Award Distribution, select Equal Payout or Team Lead Decides.
- Click Accept Team Agreement & Send Invitations.
Invited users will receive an invitation email asking them to accept or reject the invite.
Tip: Once you’ve formed a team, you can select the View Team tab to see your team members and the invitation statuses.
Note: You can only submit a solution as a team when your invited team members have either accepted or rejected the invitation, or the invitation has expired. Also, anyone that you invited must join Innocentive and agree to the Challenge Agreement.
