When you create a private Challenge, you can turn notifications off so included users or groups are added to the Challenge without sending them an invitation.
Who can do this? Platform site Admins, Idea Space Admins and Co-creation Community Admins for assigned communities, and Challenge Managers for assigned Challenges.
Turn off private Challenge notifications

Go to your Challenge.

Select Manage > Edit Challenge.

On the General tab, select Challenge configuration.

Under Share Challenge, turn off the Send notifications toggle.

Click Save.
Note: If you turn notifications back on in the future, only users or groups included after turning it on will receive an invitation.
