Troubleshoot extension conflicts

Sometimes things can break if you have third-party extensions installed on your browser, or when you have multiple extensions that conflict with each other and may lead to layout or usage issues.

Test extensions in Google Chrome

  1. Open Google Chrome.

  2. Click the Three Dots in the top-right.

  3. Select Extensions > Manage Extensions.

  4. Toggle each extension off.

  5. Go back to the platform or community where you had an issue.

  6. Check to see if the issue persists.

Test extensions in Safari

  1. Open Safari and select Safari > Preferences.

  2. Select the Extensions tab.

  3. Uncheck each extension.

  4. Go back to the platform or community where you had an issue.

  5. Check to see if the issue persists.

If the issue does not persist after turning off an extension, then it's likely that there is an extension conflict.

Note: If you have multiple extensions, you might need to re-enable your extensions one by one to find the one causing the conflict.
