Assign a Challenge Sponsor

You can assign a Challenge Sponsor to a Challenge so they can view an assigned Challenge and receive Challenge notifications, but won’t be able to manage a Challenge.

Who can do this? Platform site Admins, Idea Space Admins and Co-creation Community Admins for assigned communities, and Challenge Managers for assigned Challenges.

Assign a Challenge Sponsor

  1. Go to your Challenge.

  2. Click Manage and select Edit Challenge.

  3. On the General tab, under Select who is shown on the Challenge, select Challenge Sponsors.

  4. Enter a user's name and select them from the list.

  5. Click Update Challenge.

Tip: You can also assign a Challenge Sponsor when you create a Challenge.


(Beta) Enhanced Challenge builder experience 

Follow these steps if you're using the latest version of the Challenge builder with the enhanced experience.

Assign a Challenge Sponsor

  1. Go to your Challenge.

  2. Select Manage > Edit Challenge.

  3. Select General > Roles.

  4. Turn on the Show Challenge Sponsors in the Challenge toggle.
  5. Under Challenge Sponsors, enter a user's name and select them from the list.

  6. Click Save.
