Approve an Idea

 

If you believe an Idea aligns with your Challenge, you can approve it to help maintain the quality and relevance of Ideas submitted to a Challenge.

Who can do this? Platform Admins, Challenge Managers for assigned Challenges, and Community Admins within assigned communities.

Note: You can only approve an Idea if it’s in the last stage before the Completed stage, or automatically by fast-tracking the Idea to the completed stage.

Approve an Idea

  1. Open the Idea you want to approve.

  2. Click Manage and select Approve.

  3. Select a reason for approving the Idea.

  4. Enter any relevant information to support your reason.

  5. (Optional) Select Publish message on Status Update tab.

  6. Click Confirm.

Approve an Idea from the Ideas tab

  1. Go to your Challenge.

  2. On the Ideas tab, select the checkbox on the top-left of the Idea card.

  3. Click the Down Arrow next to Select All.

  4. Select Approve.

  5. Select the reason for approving the Idea.

  6. Enter any relevant information to support your reason.

  7. (Optional) Select Publish message on Status Update tab.

  8. Click Confirm.

Tip: Once you’ve approved an Idea, you can mark it as completed.
