Set up multi-factor authentication

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of security to your account and makes it harder for potential intruders to gain access.

Note: The MFA feature is only available if your platform admin has enabled it and you're not logging in using Single Sign-on.

Add a new MFA

  1. Select your profile picture.

  2. Select Profile > Account Settings > Advanced Security.

  3. Click Add New MFA.

  4. Scan the QR code or manually enter the Secret Key on your Authenticator App.

  5. Select Next.

  6. Enter the code displayed on your Authentication App

  7. Click Verify code.

If the code is correct, you'll be logged in and redirected to the community or platform home page.

Note: You can configure as many MFA apps as you’d like, however, one MFA app must always be active. If MFA is enforced, you'll be asked to provide a verification code each time you log in.
