Send Message to Challenge Participants

The Send Message feature in Challenges allows administrators to communicate directly with participants. You can target your messages to specific predefined groups based on user activity and engagement within the Challenge.

Follow the steps below to send a message:


How to Send a Message to Challenge Participants

  1. Go to your Challenge.

  2. Click the Manage menu.

  3. Select Send Message.

  4. Choose a predefined group from the dropdown list.

  5. Enter your message subject and content.

  6. Click Send to deliver your message to all users in the selected group.


Predefined Groups (Challenges without a Challenge Agreement)

  • Creators: Users who have added at least one idea.

  • Voters: Users who have voted on at least one idea.

  • Commentators: Users who have commented on at least one idea.

  • Contributors: Users who have participated in any of the following ways:

    • Added an idea (including as a team member), OR

    • Voted on at least one idea, OR

    • Commented on at least one idea.

  • Evaluators: Users assigned as evaluators in at least one stage.

  • Shared with: Users the Challenge was shared with.


Predefined Groups (Challenges using a Challenge Agreement)

  • Registrants: Users who have accepted the Challenge Agreement but have not added an idea.

  • Solvers: Users who have accepted the Challenge Agreement and added an idea.

  • Voters: Users who have voted on at least one idea.

  • Commentators: Users who have commented on at least one idea.

  • Evaluators: Users assigned as evaluators in at least one stage.

  • Shared with: Users the Challenge was shared with.
