Idea Space and Co-creation Community blocks can already be associated with a Group making them visible only to users who are part of the Smart Group. We have now extended the ability to limit visibility to all block types by groups. This enhancement allows:
- Admins to design and build a more personalised experience for end users..
- Admins to view the home page for a specific group, for example their primary function, rather than viewing the home page blocks for all groups
- Co-creation Community Admins who have open communities to create blocks for anonymous browsers to drive engagement before users have registered or signed in.
Quickly Build Personalised Experiences:
Drive engagement and collaboration specific to the needs of each user by creating personalised home pages for different groups of users. Your home page is essential to not only drive users onto the platform, but to keep them engaged. Different users might be interested in different content so Admins can build dynamic home pages specific to their primary areas of interest, while still having general content to ensure you encourage users to look beyond their core areas of interests.
Drive Registrations for Open Communities:
For open communities, it is critical to provide anonymous (unregistered users) the option to view some content before they make the decision to register and sign in. You may, however, want to limit the amount of information that users can view until after they register. We Anonymous blocks, you can create the engaging experience to drive registrations, while also ensuring more confidential information is only disclosed to registered users.
Admins can associate any home page block with a Smart Group: General, Featured Content, Challenge, Conversation, Custom Cards, Analytics, Gamification.
Published home pages display the correct blocks to the users depending on their permissions and group membership.
Co-creation Community Anonymous blocks are displayed for users that might be browsing and have not signed in or registered.
Admin users will be able to select a home page view based on a group, rather than viewing the full content of the home page.
