      Configure gamification

      If you want to reward your users for actively completing various actions on your platform, you can set up gamification. Gamification helps to drive user engagement by rewarding users for completing actions that help achieve your objectives.

      Who can do this? Platform site Admins.

      Award users with points

      1. Go to your platform home page.

      2. Select Settings > Set up Gamification.

      3. Under Manage Behaviours, enter how many points are awarded for each action.

      4. Click Save.

      Tip: Think about which actions you want users to do the most and assign more points to those actions.

      Award users with badges

      1. Go to your platform home page.

      2. Select Settings > Set up Gamification.

      3. Under Manage Badges, select Active on a badge.

      4. Enter how many points are needed to earn the badge.

      5. Click Save.

      When a user is awarded a badge, it’s displayed on their profile page and the Gamification Dashboard.

      Note: Only admins can see how many points are needed to earn each badge.
