Change the default Idea statuses

 

Tailor Idea statuses to match your organization's existing workflow or use the platform's default configuration.

Who can do this? Platform site Admins.

Default Idea statuses

  • Concept: The default status for an Idea in a Challenge that has been submitted but has no votes or comments.

  • Consultation: The default status for an Idea in a Challenge that has received votes or comments.

  • In Evaluation: The default status for an Idea in a Challenge in an evaluation stage.

  • In Development: The default status for an Idea in a Challenge in the development stage.

  • Approved: The default status for an Idea within a Challenge that has reached the final stage of the Challenge workflow.

  • Rejected: The default status for an Idea within a Challenge that has been rejected and no further action can be taken on the Idea.

  • Completed: The default status for an Idea in a Challenge that has been implemented and no further action can be taken on the Idea.

  • On Hold: The default status for an Idea within a Challenge that has been put on hold and is awaiting a decision.

Change a default Idea status

  1. Go to your platform home page.

  2. Select Settings > Admin Panel > Configuration > Statuses.

  3. Under a default Idea status, enter a new name.

  4. Click Save.
