      Manage dashboard permissions

      Control who has access to your data and insights by deciding where dashboards are visible on the platform, who can access them, and who the owner is.

      Change dashboard owner

      1. Go to your platform home page.

      2. Select Analytics.

      3. Next to Dashboards, click the Gear.

      4. Find your dashboard and click Actions > Change Owner.

      5. Enter a user's name or email address and select them from the list.

      6. Click Change Owner.

      Warning: You will no longer be able to edit your dashboard after changing the ownership.

      Change dashboard level

      If you want to control where a dashboard is visible on the platform, you can change the dashboard level.

      1. Go to your platform home page.

      2. Select Analytics.

      3. Next to Dashboards, click the Gear.

      4. Next to the dashboard you want to update, click Actions > Manage Level.

      5. Select where the dashboard can be viewed.

      6. Click Save.

      Change dashboard access

      If you want to control who a dashboard is visible to, you can change the dashboard access.

      1. Go to your platform home page.

      2. Select Analytics.

      3. Next to Dashboards, click the Gear.

      4. Next to the dashboard you want to update, click Actions > Manage Access.

      5. Select which user groups the dashboard will be visible to.

      6. Click Save.

      Note: The access settings you set for a dashboard at a Site level are not inherited by default at other levels such as Idea Space and Challenge. To make a dashboard visible to a user group at a lower level, you must also change the access settings for the dashboard at that level.
